Stefan Heilemann is the “Chef of the Year 2021” and is known for his cooking style based on the criteria of classical gastronomy. He also surprises his guests with exotic flavors that he discovered while traveling and incorporates into his creations.

He took over the management of the restaurant on Zurich’s Rennweg in May 2020 and has brought his own distinctive style to the restaurant. His virtuosity, curiosity and willingness to experiment have been rewarded with 18 Gault&Millau points and two Michelin stars.

The Widder Hotel is part of The Living Circle – a select group of first-class hotels and restaurants. Rice, vegetables, fruit, wine and other fine wines are all produced and supplied by the group’s own farms – without intermediaries, directly from the field to the table.
