Our lovingly furnished restaurant provides the right atmosphere for culinary explorations, expressed in Kurt Mösching’s pure haute cuisine.
The restaurant “Sonne” is situated in the farming village of Scheunenberg, on the edge of the idyllic Limpach valley, surrounded by green fields and rolling hills.
We celebrate contemporary, pure French cuisine, with a focus on perfect preparation and the use of predominantly local produce. The essence of our cooking is only captured by using superb basic ingredients.
“Sonne Scheunenberg” has been in the hands of Iris and Kurt Mösching since 2002. In autumn 2008, they were awarded a Michelin star and a year later 17/20 points by Gault&Millau.
